»Kaily Dee Jones was born June 1, 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Cheryl Jones. For the first ten years of her life she lived there, going to school, taking classes at the YMCA, all the normal childhood adventures. Shortly after her tenth birthday her father died in a car accident. Kaily wasn't too sure what all was going on, all she knew was she missed her bedtime stories and lullabies. Her mother, stricken with grief and unsure how to be able to cope with the loss of her husband let alone raise a child by herself decided to up and move to Crocker Park, South Carolina, where so her grandmother could help in raising Kaily right. When Kaily was a teenager a stray dog followed her home one day from her daily walk. She wasn't much of a dog person, but the pup was very persistent and refusing to leave her back patio. Her mother ended up letting the dog in for the night so he wouldn't get cold. A few months later, some stray cats in town found their way to the back door as well. Kaily then sighed looking at all the sad looking animals that kept appearing on her step. Her mother hated seeing her baby girl look so...sad, along with the long faces on the animals. She decided on a career change she was mulling over for a while and opened a Shelter for the homeless animals in town. Soon "Kaily Cares" started with a goal to find all animals a nice home. When Kaily wasn't busy helping her mother with the shelter, she was a normal teenage girl. Studied hard and worked hard, but her grades where only average. She tried her best though and was proud even if she wasn't the smartest in her grade. She was picked on for her "blonde" moments, never really stood out and that part was fine with her. She didn't mind fading into the background. She had a handful of friends she was loyal to and wouldn't trade for the world. After graduating high school Kaily worked at the shelter and took classes at Danforth Community College. Never settled on a major because she was not sure what she truly wanted to do. She was very picky in this aspect of her life. More picky than she was with anything else. After two semesters she dropped the classes and decided to work at the shelter full time. Working close with the animals and her mother made her happy. Nothing else really seemed to get her out of her bouts of depression, so she stuck close to what was most familiar and structured for her. Though she is still very close to her mother and the shelter, she does not live at home. She has her own separate life or at least gives it a valiant effort. She likes to be a homebody but tends to force herself out of the house every now and then. She loves seeing musicians play at coffee houses and going to the movies. Once in a while if she is feeling like it she'll try her hand at the bar scene. Storylines: » |
